Dr hab. inż. Agnieszka Jurlewicz, Profesor uczelni
She graduated from the Faculty of Fundamental Problems of Technology at Wroclaw University of
Science and Technology (WUST) in the field of Applied Mathematics. DSc. in the field of applied Mathematics.
Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pure and Applied Mathematics, WUST, since 2009 (in the Department of
Applied Mathematics).
She was Dean’s Plenipotentiary for International Cooperation and Faculty
Promotion and Faculty Erasmus plus Coordinator from 2015 to 2018. From 2009 to 2016 a member of
Educational Committee of European Consortium for Mathematics in Industry (ECMI), taking a position of the
Vice-Chairperson and Chairperson and a member of ECMI Council and ECMI Board in 2013-2016.
Co-organizer and instructor of the 23rd ECMI Modeling Week at WrUT 2009. One of the mentors during 3rd UK
Graduate Modelling Camp at Oxford University 2011 and 27th Modelling Week, Madrid 2013. In 2014-16 she was a
local WUST coordinator of MODCLIM (Modeling Clinic for Industrial Mathematics) project in the
framework of the Erasmus Plus – Strategic
Partnerships Program, funded by the European Commission
through the Education Culture and Audiovisual Executive Agency.
She is a member of Hugo Steinhaus
Center research group. Her research interests include stochastic modelling of complex systems,
anomalous diffusion, relaxation processes.
