Water in Israel! - How a Problem Becomes an Opportunity!
Water - recovery in industry
The water sector in Israel is a collective name for the production, transmission and storage of water. The annual amount of precipitation is small and does not meet the needs of the population. In addition, much of Israel is located in desert areas where there are problems with its shortage. The waters of the rivers are scarce and are found between neighboring countries that face similar problems. Over the years, water sources have also spawned geopolitical conflicts between Israel and neighboring countries. The main part of the peace agreement with Egypt and Jordan concerns the regulation of access to water.

Since the establishment of the State of Israel, water scarcity and management of the broadly understood water sector, through its production and recovery, has been at the forefront of the country’s development strategy. The main areas to be addressed were: the development of new and additional sources of its acquisition, transport and its transmission for agriculture, wastewater treatment, desalination and water management as a whole. The issue of powers to manage the water sector has been regulated by a government body in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Mekorot company, which produces and maintains 65% of the national water volume, and Tahal - Israel Water Planning, which provides engineering solutions for water projects including domestic drinking water supply and wastewater treatment systems (Israel and Singapore are world leaders in the reuse of wastewater in agriculture). Today half of the water consumed in Israel comes from desalination and in fact Israel does not suffer from water shortages as in the past, which allows it to remain strategically secure in this regard. In recent years, after the legislative solutions, Israel has been prepared to export its knowledge in the field of water management.

Paradoxically, Poland may face the same problem of water shortage, given that the resources of this good are at the level of those in Egypt or Syria, and the method of retention or recovery of water for industrial, living and consumer purposes is ineffective or does not exist at all. Moreover, the technological solutions do not meet the requirements of today (about 40% of the water transmission networks are made of cast iron and asbestos pipes).

Due to the fact that water resources are shrinking at a terrifying pace due to climate change, we as a country and the world will face a problem,

Due to the fact that water resources are shrinking at a terrifying pace due to climate change, we as a country and the world will face a problem,

is water our common good or will it be a commodity in the future, or is it already?

Such cases are already occurring in Australia, and financial instruments have emerged in the US to finance the purchase of water options

Water - recovery in industry
We co-create solutions and efficient water recovery installations for many industries and the economy based on domestic and foreign experience. We offer individual and comprehensive water recovery solutions for a specific technical infrastructure, thanks to which it is possible to reuse post-process water. This significantly reduces the amount of waste generated and reduces operating costs.

Our cooperation with entities and research units where their over several decades of experience in the technological water purification industry is a guarantee of the highest efficiency of water recovery installations. Thanks to technological knowledge and many years of practice, we offer modern solutions for hotels, spas, natural medicine facilities, industrial plants - also for the food industry.

Thanks to the technology used, we recover up to 95% of clean water from post-process waters after gravel and sand filters. Our installations significantly reduce the amount of wastewater discharged into the treatment plant or the environment. Inspired by nature, we provide the most effective water recovery technologies in order to create a world that cares for every drop of it.

Technology

In our devices, we use advanced, latest technologies that are mainly based on membrane separation, i.e. microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis. We also offer advanced systems of high-performance special-purpose membranes, which are used in installations operating in particularly difficult conditions, associated with high temperatures, pressure and chemically aggressive substances.

Hybrid Membrane Reactor (HRM) - a device whose software is to prepare treated water for membrane separation. It is our proprietary technology that solves many challenges with high bio-chemical, physico-chemical indicators, turbidity and microbial contamination. This automatic jug supply module, power supply, from the biological treatment plant supply, guaranteeing the results of water search.

Our water recovery stations are designed to effectively remove contaminants from water or other process fluids, allowing them to be reused. Thanks to our innovative solutions, our clients implement the concept of a circular economy. In this way, we focus on the rational use of resources and limit the negative impact on the environment.

Why our Technology?

Water recovery systems optimize the operating costs of industrial plants. Thanks to our innovative solutions, these costs can be reduced by up to 85% in the field of water management and thermal energy related to its use.

Each stage of the system design process is preceded by a detailed analysis of the treatment effects in laboratory conditions and physico-chemical and biochemical analyzes performed by an accredited laboratory.

The devices are fully automatic and do not require additional maintenance. We supervise the proper functioning of the station remotely, as well as thanks to mobile, experienced service teams.

Thanks to our implementations our partners gain a positive image of responsible, and socially involved entities. We minimize the use of chemicals for water treatment, and we implement the “Zero Waste” strategy, which consists in the maximum reduction of waste generation wherever possible.
